I am in a happy dreamy romantic mood. Just watched Amelie and decided that film is *so* me. Like totally me .I was practically in tears in places and its been a long time since anything has emotionally affected me in this way. Everything is happy and friendly and I want to hug the world. I'm a romantic dreamer at heart always looking for the happy ending in everything. Call me a fool if you like but I live for dreams.

I'm going to Paris in June! To meet Val for her birthday! Go me! *excited*

Oh do! Paris is lovely. And if you have somewhere to stay like that i'll be heaps heaps cheaper for you too so you can spend more enjoying yourself and actually *doing* things.

Some of us would love to spend a *long* time in paris but can't afford to.

Paris *is* lovely. But I don't like it nearly as much as I do London. London is so much more beautiful.

Thankyou for the kind offer! I may be tempted to take you up on it sometime. :) :) I don't have any other friends with flats in lovely paris. You're far too kind, especially as I don't know you so well.

I guess it'd be hoping too much that you have a flat in Prague too? Thats the other place I want to get to soon. Hopefully later this year. *hope* *hope* *hope*

I'm a trusting sort of person. I mean, *would* you run off with all our things and murder the landlord? Well, no. So no reason not to trust you. ~smile~

We went to Prague earlier this year, with our choir...I have to admit I hated it, but since everyone else always goes on about how wonderful it is, I'm not sure what I missed. ~sigh~
I've travelled lots in Europe with my mother. I'm lucky. ~smile~

Sorry, not enough time in paris to murder your landlord or stel your things, i'm usually runnign around trying to do every museum and nice food place and so on. And the parks........*swoon*. And some of the things in the shops.....*melts*

It's the disturbing dress sense and hairstyles that put me off. Eeeek! Ugh!
Although the accents are to die for. I think i'd fall instantly for *anyone* cute with a french accent. *swoooooon*. Remind me to go french dancing more often - *melts*

And what do you know about the backstage crew of french opera houses? *curious* What have I been missing all this time?? Should I lurk there when I go to Paris next month? *wideeyedsmile*

I've never quite understood what people find so attractive about the French accent. Had my French speaking exam today, and my accent is perfect, but I'd so much rather be able to speak Italian, it's much more liquid and less harsh...

And my mother is a singer, so I spend much time hanging around the backstage areas in opera houses around the world. ~g~ Only lurk there if you're looking for pretty stagehands or members of the male chorus, though. ~smile~
But oh my, they *are* pretty. ~memories~

I don't know what it is about the french accent but it's just so seductive. It doesn'rt even matter what is being said, It just turns off most of my higher brain functions and I just melt into the floor into some deamlike intoxicated state. *floats*

No, just makes me think of my mother's insane French fans, I think.

But I do understand what you mean, since I get the same around most Scottish, some Welsh, and a great many English regional accents. ~shrug~ I'm just odd, as no doubt you've observed.

Anything in a french accent. However I think it's even more seductive in french, if I don't understand it, as then I can just imagine what the works may mean, and start daydreaming myself into a little world of my own. *happysmile*
