Glastonbury?
Apr. 11th, 2002 10:14 pmStrange how other peoples enthusiasm can sometimes rub off on you. Even though she probably can't get there herself, Val has pursuaded me that working at glastonbury to get in free is a Good Thing, and must be attempted. And assuming I'm successful in finding pepoe to go along with me there, thats where I'm likely to end up at the end of June. Muddy fields here we come!! Hurrah! Doseybat has already shown a very keen interest. Catt not suprisingly hates tents and things - not her thing. Still, I'm a bit apprehensive about it, but I'm already looking forward to it.
Plus I've never ever done glastonbury before. What's it like?

Date: 2002-04-11 03:47 pm (UTC)I've done other festivals before, and they vary a lot. Some a very civilize things (like sidmouth) others a complete nightmare and full of idiots (reading) and some where the food is odd and they don't sell cider (eurorock). I'm particularly looking for specific comments regarding Glastonbury. Mud and cows aside, I've heard its totally different.
And don't worry, I already know about the communal mixed showers thing.
