Yay bonsai! :) Actually, it's a Serissa Foetida, which means "Tree of a Thousand Stars" because at some point it will flower with lots and lots of very very tiny white flowers.

I know bat loves trees lots, but didn't she get a tree for her birthday too? - her tree is bigger, towering over my little friendly tree like a big meanie at the top of our staircase.

My bonsai, Niles, couldn't cope without me and died in the summer. But I can't bring myself to throw him out, so he still sits on the windowsill...

Acaually I can't speak, Basil, my basil plant (oh the imagination!) resides dead in our kitchen still. I can't bring myself to empty the tub.

..Helsinki is not really at its best in early May but there are still lots of places you'll want to visit. I'll make a list of them :)

Oh, and I live only 2 hours (by train) away from Helsinki :)

Meese is my word for Mooses. The plural of Moose. Like Geese and Goose.

sorry...Um, I guess there might be meese in the zoo in Helsinki. Otherwise you'll probably have to go into the woods and wait very patiently until you see one.

Oh dear, I'd wanted to see meese again (I saw one when I was in the urals, they are nice). I'll have to make do with seeing the Mieskuoro Huutajat dress up as penguins and scream at ice breakers instead, won't I?
