More than happy to be dragged back to Hungary. Also want to do Poland (and lots of the rest of Eastern Europe), Italy, nice bits of Spain etc etc.
Please take me away from all this!!! ; )

Poland...

If you make it to Poland, stick with Krakow and the mountain region down there - very pretty, albeit also more touristy. It's more historical too because that used to be the capital city. Warsaw is a dump. And it's "old town" is basically an almost total reconstruction: takes the charm away from it somewhat :)

Run away, run away!

Oh dear. Less keen on Poland now!! Still, I should do it at SOME point. Also want to do Yugoslavia and the Slovak Republic and Northern Italy (indeed any of Italy).
Now I just need to work on conning people into going with me!!!

It's not that bad, just don't expect anything terribly special outside the area in the south. As you've already been to places in Eastern/Central Europe you really won't see much that's different, but I do reckonmend the south and the Carpathian moutains.

Northern Italy is ok, but terribly....well, European in feel. I mean, Turin felt very French and Venice not far off from places like Munich or Vienna...the further south you go the more distinctly "Italian" it seems to get.

blah! :P

I might not have Spain, Belgium or the US, but I've got Finland, Estonia, Poland, Hungary, Austria and the Slovak Republic! Smaller countires I grant you, but *blah* nontheless :P

I have to try and make myself feel less inadequate about the lack of lots of red on mine, that's all...

Where next? How about Finland? Finland, Finland, Finland...it's the place I adore...a poor second to Belgium...when going abroad (sorry, quoting a Monty Python song there...!). Or to continue on the Python theme, what about the fjords? Very nice this time of year. With moose.

Bla bla bla

Well...

Beginning of May might see me in Petersburg if you can shift your arse there. I am even considering asking for three days off so I can stay there a week. I'll have to see how things look...

At the Gates of Perespolis

'Ava'ye Parsi'e man
Tasvireh Asr'e Kohan
Hengameh barkhastaneh tost
Payandeh bad Iran'e man'

You'll be visiting *rolling drumms* Persepolis in Iran!

By the way the translation for the above which is one of the RazorBladeKisses songs called Parthian Chant is:

'My Parthian Chant
Is the story of the ancient times
It's now your time to rise and stand forever
My precious homeland of Iran'
