Doseybat's party

Yaaaaay! Otherwise known as the lets-see-how-many-fab-people-can-we-get-in-the-house party (somewhere in the region of 30, but i really lost count). Most of the time it seemed like i'd stepped through a time warp back 5 years ago, but I still met many fab people who i'd not seen before. So thankyou all for turning up, with special mentions to compilerbitch for all the fantastic food and drink (especially the breakfast to the masses in the morning) poetman for the yummiest chocolate cake, Penny for mulling wine excellence AGAIN and to doseybat herself for letting us give her the bumps at midnight, and also to all those sleeping over. Yaaaaaay! :)

There is still a small mountain of leftover party food, and bottles and bottles of leftover wine. Any offers to help consume all this will be nice, otherwise myself and snow_leopard are just going to have to eat and drink it all ourselves, which would be naughty.

oh and I met mirabehn, spindlemere and smhwpf and we wen to see the fabbiest LOTR exhibition at the science museum and it's absolutely brilliant and full of all sort of exciting info and tricks they used to make the films, and me and Elly got photos taken taking turns being shrunk to hobbit size, which was most exciting! (Elly have you scanned those in yet?)

The a lovely evening with doseybat and her parents, with her dad telling of his adventures rescuing a rare russian book from being very very smelly. *giggles*.

Doseybat, don't forget the cunning plan to get the lovely Miss Bee to come to dinner with us...*grins*
