Gathering of the pretty people - Part I
Nov. 30th, 2003 11:44 amWow. That was most fun. I've never had my place invaded by so many lovely pretty sparkly people before, and it makes me a very happy bunny that all these people came to my little abode and enjoyed themselves. Yaaaaay! :) In vague order of arrival, we had a
erming,
_nicolai_,
doseybat,
compilerbitch,
emomisy,
gnimmel,
purplepiano, Joe, Penny,
damerell,
arkady,
reddragdiva,
redcountess,
emarkienna,
davefish,
poetman,
happygoff and Chewie.
Nicolai brought fab Pesto dip and the fastest disappearing chocolate fudge cake in the world. Joe and Penny made the yummiest mulled wine ever, and provided a purple fluffy xmas tree decoration! Damerell provided us with lethal hot sake. I made some awful punch, which someone must have drunk, as theres none left now. Everyone spent a long time admiring and exploring the whole rooftop. Everyone also had this urge to tickle little me to death- me an attention seeker? Never! :) There was much in the way of highly geeky conversation, although in a good way, of course. I bounced around being an energetic host, and failing to properly introduce people to each other. Ooops. There was some very odd music, and nobody played any games (*pout*), but everyone looked like they were having fun anyway (some having lots of fun...!). After the last carload departed to Cambridge at about 1AM, the hardcore party nutters kept going until 3AM. Claire phoned just as we were all going to bed, which was nice of her, if a little odd. All in all a most lovely party, the only casualties being my reputation and one wineglass.
*thankyouhugs* for all you pretty things that appeared (this makes me very happy) and even bigger *huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuugs* to those of you who were unable to make it (I know who you are and you were very very much missed!).
Next weekend - Part II - same time, same place.
