A day of frivolity *grins*

I've been feeling especially frivolous all this week. And today it erupted into me deciding suddenly to change myself. And the rumours that have already been leaking around the internet are indeed true.



snow_leopard thinks I now look like kitty_goth. Dearie me.


Barbers scare me. I can't remember the last time I went to have my hair cut - my hair was last cut about 7 years ago, but I did that myself, so it was probably about 10-11 years back. So even the cut was new and exciting and unusual for me. So I ended up at the fably named 'Hair by Fairy' and they were very friendly and seemed to know what they were doing. And it was exceedingly painful. Ooooooooow. Bleach hurts. Dye stings. Mind you, in a slightly sadistic way, I was really enjoying it. So I spend a few hours being pampered by those very nice Hair by Fairy people, and at the end my hair was shorter and very blonde. This evening, the very fab alektoeumenides insisted on adding in pink streaks. And most fab they are too, thank you dearie.

This frivolity is probably because I'm in a very happy mood. Lots of good things keep happening to me. My thesis is now completed its 3rd revision, and if I could only locate my supervisor, it'd be submitted fairly quicksharp. And the fab kmazzy has very kindly bought me a ticket to see Heather Nova next month, so yaaaaay to that.

Afterwards, darklyng (Monica Bellucci) auditions for a movie starring opposite coven (Liam Neeson). Upstairs, aiwendel (Daniel Baldwin) accidentally throws away erming (Cesar Romero)'s book. In the next town over, venta (Bebe Neuwirth) eats caro7 (William H. Macy)'s raspberry cheesecake. The week after, delomelas (Kim Cattrall) gets a job as secretary to secret_vampire (Mira Sorvino). TV-14.

While I already know snow_leopard has a passion for the Coriolis effect after she happily proofread my astrophysics thesis, the rest of it sounds a little more odd. And Jane Fonda? *giggles*

Yes, I'm still planning to travel to Cold Ash on Sunday. When would be a good time to arrive? Although my arrival time is most likely going to be determined by what time i crawl out of bed, given that i'll probably not get home until after 4am the night before. :)
