Fraud update

Bankcard cancelled, new card on its way. Noticed the meanies have fleeced me right up to my overdraft limit, so phoned bank up again and asked bank nicely to extend my overdraft limit hugely. Used my last cheque this morning, so had to phone bank *again* and demand a new chequebook. Then a huge scary fraud investigation form arrived in the post, so I spent ages filling that out, declaring that I'd not in fact been on a binge spending spree in Hollywood for the past week. They can credit the small 'Voucher' (whatever that means?) transactions back to me imminently, which is about 100 pounds and have cancelled transactions not yet cleared. However that still leaves the 4000 US dollars that got withdrawn in cash in banks in California. Apparently they have to get the police and other financial people involved, and do a full investigation and I may not see that money for at least 2 months. Eeeeep.

Thankyou for all the kind offers of support and money. I may yet need to take some of you up on that.

Eek on the whole thing.. good to know they are going to refund it all, but the length of time involved, not good :(

At least the spending spree didnt happen in a street up the road from you, coz then youd be in the picture for it!! :P At least when all the money is returned it will be a huge relief.

It amazes me how people seem to manage to have the nerv to even attempt something like that! Its scarey really isnt it!

Im glad they are sorting it out though :)

Oh and i love the new look journal! Very nice :)
