Time for a change

I've been having fun changing the appearance of my LJ. Ok, so some people would say a pink journal is very me, but it might stay, or maybe it'll change again. I like my new Mucha background, but it's not easy to see it, what with all the words in front. I need more icons too - but there are *no* good photos of me online to make icons out of. Grrrrrr.

I am going to use my parents scanner while I am home over Easter so if you find some photos you like I can scan them for you.

Yay! That would be good. I've got a photo that i've been meaning to scan in for about two years now. Its one of the very few good ones of me. :) :)

I must admit I find it a little...well, overwhelming. Still, it does have a pretty Mucha picture, so I like it in the end :)

Hmmm...not sure I like the harshness either. I'll go try another colourscheme later this evening. :)

*smallsmile* I put the two Mucha images together myself to make the single background.

Still not sure about the colour scheme - the pink its just the one it ended up by the time i had to go to bed, i plan to see if i can do better when i have more time to play around. :)

Any more recommendations?? *wonders*

Hmmm -- ISTR that you're red-green colourblind? Just wondering, 'cos I think the reddish-pink clashes a bit whereas green wouldn't. The background picture yums rather a lot, BTW. :)

Only a little red-green colourblind. I mean, I can tell the difference between RED and GREEN, but theres various shades inbetween that i get confused about sometimes.

Anyhows, yes green foresty colours whould be a lot more soothing to the eye. However, at the moment I'm in the office and should be writing a thesis, not prettifying my LJ.
