Hooray! Yes, I'm going to go to B-Movie on October 11th (I think thats when i'ts next on). From Sexbat's setlist last time it looked fantastic. Like what slimelight should be, but somehow isn't these days.

The last Slimes I went to was quite passable, but guess who was DJing half the night?

Since it's Friday, I shall have to go straight from work - otherwise I'd suggest meeting up for a swift one beforehand. Still, I'd be grateful if you'd let some of the usual suspects who you're in closer contact with know.

Sounds great doesn't it? But the problem is that past experience has shown me that Upstairs at the Garage events tend to be quite crappy...the last one I went to sounded terribly promising, but ended up seeming worse than a little school party, with very few folk about...it was rather depressing really. Still, perhaps this one will be better? It's in Highbury and Islington after all...mere spitting distance from Angel, so one can always move to Slimes if all else fails eh?

Hm I fear Russia is making me a cynical and bitter bunny.

*nods* I've never been to the Upstairs at the Garage, but i've heart its small and hot. Eeeep. We can still give it a try, and you're right, theres always slimelight just down the road.

Good luck in booking plane tickets for that weekend! *fingerscrossed*

might give that a whirl - it is small, and hot, and there've been some poor nights there, but OTOH there have been some ace nights too. Def. hoping to make B-Movie this month as well.

I am quite tempted, it does sound good. But be warned that Upstairs at the Garage is VERY small (about 8 metres squared if that).
Maybe I shall come, and indeed there is always Slimes if it turns out to be dire.
I intend to come to B-Movie as thats the weekend Snathe is here (I have also promised to take him to Slimelight on the Saturday so you may want to come too).

Hm... for B-Movie, I think I may well be tempted out of my self-imposed "no clubbing" regime, cos it sounds ace, and Sexbat's playlist was pretty impressive-looking...
