My Long Weekend, written by me
After months of confusion and indecision, and many ups and downs on both sides, it appears that C & T are finally going out now. Go them! This is both good news and bad news - it's good because they both appear lots happier and much more stable, and this should make my life a lot easier. Yay! But its bad as I find it very difficult to sleep and it gets me highly strung out when I have to listen to people having sex through a wall at night. This may yet drive me nuts. :(
Got a lovely and unexpected visit from doseybat for most of sunday afternoon. She came bearing yummy russian sweeties and we had a good gossip session! Yay! And much glitter and gold stars to catt who was super-friendly to doseybat, making some yummy coffee (she'd just bought some at Greenwich market) and helping doseybat with pointers and advice in hunting for a good job. Yay! If this friendliness manages to continue i'll be a very happy princess! :)
*Good* thing to do: Turn lights off, light many candles, and read a fab book, with the proms on the TV playing in the background (yay shastakovitch + prokoviev!). Very pretty and relaxing. *blissfulsmile*
Other fun things done included finding
alektoeumenides online, resulting in a session of bouncing emails back and forth. Go Val! :) not fair, i want to go to estonia *envy*. And watching Virgin Suicides on video. Odd and somehow disturinbing film - although i'm worried i was more disturbed by the trees being cut down than the actual suicides themselves.
And hellos to
gnimmel who's jumped on the livejournal bandwagon. Enjoy the ride! :)
I miss Emily. Not seen her in almost a week. *pangsofseparation*

Why is it that liking trees more than people is strangely wonderful, but liking dogs more than people is just...odd? Ah well. I think we both like people enough that it doesn't matter :)

I'm relieved you think that theres nothing wrong with treehugging.
Yay
As for Tallinn/Estonia...*sticks tongue out* well you _should_ come here one day. Damn easier to get a visa here actually, I would reconmend it as a far superior entry point than mucking around at the London Russian Consulate.
As for lack of Emily... :( moop.
(((hugs))) from Estonia...
Re: Yay
And thankyou for the Tallinn / Russian visa advice - i'll keep that in mind as an option. Having said that, now maria is back in london, i think i won't have too many problems getting a visa sorted when i do decide to go to russia at some point. *thankyouhugs*

As for the sex: CD player + headphones + lavender oil (on pillow not CD player!) = happy sleeping human.

Lets hope it lasts - neither C or T have survived in a long term relationship before. Maybe this time it'll be different.
I have a lack of headphones, so music would have to be played out loud. And i don't usually sleep well to music either, although it's got to be better than listening to sex. It'll get me less sexually frustrated at the very least, which has got to be a good thing.
As for scents, i don't have any oils, i could burn incense, but most of the stick i own are aprodisiacs, which C & T may appricate if the can smell it from the next room, but i definately wouldn't. Eeeep :(
