Demolitions and Candles
August 11th. The twin towers come crashing down.
While walking to shops today, i found a sizable croud of people standing on the bridge near Leyton tube station, some weilding video cameras, obviously waiting for something. I asked around and found that the local infamous landmark, the 'twin towers' of leytonstone, were due to be demolished in a couple of minutes. This sounded fun to watch, and turned out to be very impressive. A loud 'crump' shook the air, and the towers crashed vertically downwards, disappearing into a large cloud of debris.
There was much applause. Yay! :)
16th century russian orthodox liturgies playing in the background, a darkened room, with everyone silently holding candles. Asylum is very pretty and enchanting. *melts*

I'm annoyed that I missed that too - I think I must have been asleep, post-Slimelight at the time (and deaf to the world)
Re:
and immune to wobbling!

As for 16th Century Russian Orthodox Liturgies, how ironic :)
