So much prettiness it hurts

Watched the video of Velvet Goldmine this evening. Oh myyyyyy. Oh *my*. Why haven't I seen this film before? Pretty creatures.....including the usual creature that makes my brain melt in funny ways.....mmmmmm...Jonathan Rhys Meyers with blue hair? Yes please! With cream and strawberries! And also him of course, and him......and also her a bit, but....eeeep. pretty.

*laughs* I do love your turn of phrase. I thought you'd like it. :)

YES! Another one joins the party!
It's so my favourite film. 'Cause, y'know. Jack Fairy. ~points to icon~ Just, yes.

YAY! ~spins you round~ Yay! ~throws glitter~

Noooo you cannot have Jonathan Rhys Meyers as he is mine ALL MINE (the strawberries and cream are mine too). He is so sexy he can even look good in Bend it like Beckham with SHORT hair in a football kit.
I KNEW I should never have introduced you to his loveliness as you would just steal him for yourself ; )

I'm amazed you both find him attractive...I'm amazed so many people do...he does look better than usual in Velvet Goldmine but I've never thought that was saying much. ~shudder~ Ick, no.
Now, Jack Fairy on the other hand...

...but then, he's mine, so I guess you're welcome to Brian Slade...

You mean you didn't rush to see it at the cinema when it was out??! Dear me, what a dire oversight!?!?!

Have you ever seen "Hedwig and the angry inch"? Much much much sillier and cheesier, without JRM in it, but has a similar vein running through it. Cruder though. Hm.

Hedwig has *so* many similarities to VG...as I said when I saw it (http://www.livejournal.com/talkpost.bml?journal=duranorak&itemid=20970)...(eek, apologies for the typing mistakes in that, it won't let me edit it...)
Still a brilliant film though, and one I very much want to see again.

Hmm, pretty. Lots of.

Hedwig

Hedwig was indeed a FANTASTIC film. I dragged Mark to see it as he wouldn't have gone otherwise.
Less to drool at though ; )

Less to drool at? I don't know...I found Hedwig herself very attractive, and Tommy Gnosis had his moments, not to mention the pianist with the glittery lipstick.
But still, I've never found anyone to compare to Jack Fairy, so...~g~

Is there a Hedwig soundtrack available?

~nodnodnod~ Yep. And if you get it, can I tape it off you? ~g~ I have the VG one if you want a copy...though as you know I can only do tape, being a backward little technologically disadvantaged kitten...~s~
