I wasn't expecting this

It's very confusing and I'm a little bit scared. This journal thing. I've had this journal for just over a week now, and already virtually everyone I know has read it already. Often in great and glorious detail. Isn't that just a little scary? Heaven knows what Val thinks of all this (Hello Val if you're reading this!), her being the most prominent subject in the journal as it stands. It's like i'm running my own gossip column. About me.

Yesterday

Yesterday was lots and lots of fun. Got off to a bad start with the visit from the landlady trom hell. Not only was she an hour late, but after inspecting teh garden came up with a stunning revelation. She expects us to cut the grass with scissors. Or something like that. I'm fine with the house rental agreement sayiong we have to cut the grass, thats not a problem, the problem liesin her refusing to supply us with anything to cut the grass with. I'm told a scythe is the way forward.

Netgoth picnic at Golders' green. As usual I took along far too much food. Val was there, and had brought a chocolate cake. A very nice chocolate cake. Also present were sheridanwilde, darklyng, incy, cybermuppet, someone who we called babygoth (much to his dislike) and a load of other people who's names I probably can't remember or have forgotted to mention. Much wine was drunk, and much merriment was had. Conversations about Russian living conditions and the like (!?). sheridanwilde unfortunately has a camera to record the evidence.

Home for a bit to get changed and watch bagpuss and then I was off to a curry house in brick lane to meet the doseybat. Horrible restaurant, thankfully no music but still much too loud and crouded. Meal was cheapish and very very nice. We had a most revealing and excitable conversation full of gossip and intrigue. She reckons she's about to get together with someone. She's often saying that though. Good luck to her, she needs someone steady and reliable. Bizarrely she and came out with the renewed ambition to draw me naked. I must admit I'm taken aback by this. After all, she has seen me naked enough times to know how bad I can look. Male nudes are just .....ergh! The female form is far more appealing. I'm confident she doesn't mean it at all in a dodgy way.

Me and doseybat head off to Slimelight, and meet up there with Val and also with emarkienna. Lots of people from the picnic also there (including the babygoth) and Val's friends Mat and Tessa. Slimelight is still noisy and icky and not as good as it used to be. My new pointy boots really didn't enjoy it. However the music has improved significantly since the last time I was there, and in fact I stayed until the end, although I was aided in this descision by my coat being stuck in doseybat's bag. I spent a lot of time on the dancefloor, frequently dancing with Val (which was most fun). Val mysteriously vanished sometime after 5am, although she looked extremely tired the last I sawy her so I assume she was exhaused and went home. Hope she got home OK, as I've not heard from her since, and when I phoned her the phone was engaged. She left with uncanny bad timing, as it was just when I needed defending from the scary woman. I don't know who she was, or why she picked me, but it was obvious what she wanted from me (er....to pull me!!) and I wanted to run and hide, but she found me every time I returned to the dancefloor. Everntually she went away and I felt a bit braver vneturing out again, and soon had doseybat to dance with (who probably didn't realise she was doing me a great favour in making it *look* like I was taken).
Left at 7:30am. Got home just before 9am. Slept. No hangover.
