Skimpy Leather Bikinis!!!!!

Ok, now I've got everyone's attention. And I just found out today that the Romans wore the said above item around London. No wonder they were popular. I know, because the London museum (where I wandered into today) says so. And both catt and [livejournal.com profile] sheridanwilde can back me up on this. So yes, Romans in bikinis so skimpy they'd be *highly* embarassing to wear unless you actualyl wanted to show *everything*. Hmmm, maybe I should stop being obsess about this and drag my head out of the gutter.

More random encounters today.....bizarrely bumped into [personal profile] zotz at St. Pauls station who was on his way to the Tate modern with a friend in tow. Nice man, and nice to see him, although very briefly. It really is turning into small world syndrome here, except theres still certain people I really *really* want to see or bump into and I never manage to bump into them. *infuriatedsigh*

And I've a new toy! And before anyone jumps ot any dodgy conclusions, my new toy is one of [livejournal.com profile] meirion's samples of a solar sail boom. Its a small black plastic strip that can bend in all sorts of curious ways or snap rigid and I've found it *fascinating* and am endlessly showing it to people, who then think I'm mad. Although it doesn't appear to take much to please me. Let me play with my little toy *giggle*....

Yup - I saw the leather thong as well (and it really is very thong-ish, no exaggeration needed - wonder what the top looked like?
Not sure if I should be disturbed that it's lasted two thousand years or not.

I was going to comment on this, but I couldn't think of anything that wasn't excruciating double entendre, or just plain tasteless, so I think I'll just reread it and giggle a lot.

I'm so sorry to have disappointed you. ~s~ I'll do better next time, I promise.
Mind you, you were doing ever so well all by yourself...~g~

Actually, she was towing me. She's a Friend Of the place, and I hadn't been before. Good to see you again, regardless. Hopefully I'll catch up with you properly soon.
