Heavy metal

Platinum is about as heavy as lead or gold. Really really heavy. I'm impressed I just picked up a litre of it without falling over. And it's really shiny and sparkly, and worth about half a million pounds. Ooooh! (sadly it's not mine)

If you can pick it up does that mean that you can also run off with it?
