Yep, it does always come back. You've just remineded me of an obscure sci-fi book i read as a child where some evil giants kidnapped the sun during a total solar eclipse, so that it didn't come back.
That's odd. The times on my comments page seem to have all gone relative. They didn't do that before. When did that happen? *confused*
