Ham Sandwich or... er... chocolate?

As I was boarding the plane at Stockholm a few hours ago I was handed a ham sandwich. And also an elaborate apology about strikes at Heathrow affecting onboard catering and this sandwich being the substitute meal. Ah well, was only travelling BA because it was cheaper than Easyjet or Ryanair. While it was a nice enough sandwich, I should have claimed to be a vegetarian, as the vegetarian option was a bar of chocolate. *droools*. Dammit if only they had told me!!!

You should now have guessed that despite BA’s best efforts to make me remain in lovely Sweden (missing it already *sob*) I’m now home in smelly London again. The past week all worked out just lovely. Having never spent longer than a weekend with my sweet cassielalone, I’d been hugely excited although a bit apprehensive about spending a whole week with her on holiday. Not to mention her family too, who turned out to be absolutely fab. Of course it all turned out great and I’ve had the most wonderful and intimate time and I’m so so happy about it and so much in love i’m exploding with soppyness (yes, you can all puke now). *happysoppysmiles* I have had many good and strange adventures in Sweden. It is an odd place. Watch this space, as these tales will appear in a post here soon, after I’ve acquired photos from Nini. *nods*

No way I’m catching up with a week of unread LJ so prod me if there is anything you think I should know about. I hope you have all behaved? *raiseseyebrow*

Trip is robingurl's pastor, with whom she has just rebuilt a working relationship after what is probably best described as a mad teenage crush indiscretion moment. She states that other people's intervention may have damaged that relationship, although to what extent has not been disclosed. Clearer?

OK. In an attempt to make Yves not go to America, person or persons unknown e-mailed Trip, said pastor, who has a lot of influence with robingurl, telling him of her planned emmigration. This has upset robingurl, as she thinks it was the wrong thing for him to be informed of their plans by 'random English people' instead of by her personally. It has consequently upset Yves, as she does not like the fact that people went over her and robingurl's head (as she sees it) to someone who holds a position of respect and influence in robingurl's life.

Thank you for the links, although I'd just managed to catch the start of it, having been informed by doseybat to "CHECK LJ RIGHT NOW" the night before I left for Sweden. Having had a look just now, I'm even more confused about what is going on. Am going to try and find out a few more real facts (rather than the millions of opinions in comments there) before I say anything about it. Meeep! *hugs all around*

I am SO glad you and Nini are so happy together. I know this sounds like it's got some bitter double meaning when my own love life is all messed up, but it's not - so many of the people I love are now broken in various ways because of me and I'm just *so* glad that at least you are OK and happy with someone. I'm sure it's evil being back in England though, so many cuddles for that. *cuddlecuddle*

oooh! Well done - doesn't it feel good after having moved everything and theres no mre carrying stupid amounts of STUFF to do? You're not the only slow unpacker - I swear it only used to take me about an hour while I was a poor student in Cambridge with little amounts of STUFF, but now I have so much STUFF I'm still unpacking things even a month after moving. One day this place will be pretty and nice. :)

A few days back, Nini has also showed interest in Whitby, and I await to hear if she's free that weekend. I think she'll like the dressing up bit. Er... which weekend is Whitby? I really can't recall talking to happygoff about it, but if she can find us free tickets for working there, and you can squeeze us in a double bed somewhere, that seems like the start of a plan. Or something. It may not all work out.

Whitby is 27th - 31st October, but I am afriad I cannot offer a double bed. We have room for one more person in the cottage, not two. (Also think happygoff only has room for one more helper on the stall.)
And while i actually have you attention, you still need to get back to me on whether you will be around on the weekend of 21st - 23rd October as thats the weekend of my proposed London visit.

Nothing else planned for 21-23 October so that is excellent time for catt to visit. I'll stop myself going anywhere else that weekend. Anything particular you had in mind to do (shopping, theatre, other activities?) or would you rather stay in here and socialise?
