Snowbows

Snow AND a Rainbow at the same time!!! :) :) Is that called a Snowbow, or something else? Has cheered me up a lot which is good and just what I needed. Yaaaaaaaaay! :)

Many thanks to everyone with kind comments while I was feeling illed. Am somewhat recovered now (sweet cassielalone looked after me at weekend. Yay for her!) but still feeling fragile. Nini, you left your butterflies behind!

Lovely happygoff has offered me a free Whitby ticket. Am now tempted to go, although it will mean finding accomodation, and going there without my Nini, both of which may be daunting.

Lesbian film night this evening. That will keep me happy.

Snow AND a Rainbow at the same time

Wow, that must look amazing.

Was stunning. We have large window overlooking the whole of London, and could see the snowstorm approaching from the opposite direction to the sunset. Was blue skies at first, then a large grey cloud appeared on the horizon, and grew bigger and gloomier and larger and LARGER and started consuming buildings one by one from the horizon. Over half an hour we were all mesmerised by the oncoming storm, taking bets on which building would disappear into the oncoming greyness next. It really looked like the end of the world approching, slowly eating eveything in its path. Suddenly a rainbow appeared on the huge grey cloud - I was awestruck, and realized it was a snowbow as it had to be snow on the way. Minutes later nearby building got gobbled by the greyness, and snow started falling, and eventually the rainbow got eaten too and it was one of the most amazing storms I've ever witnessed. Very pretty. :) :) :)

I've never seen a snowbow but last year I did see lightning while it was snowing and that was very pretty... snowbow probably prettier though.

Bah, I so want to go to the Oakdale arms, but have excess of homeworkage. Although perhaps will have managed to make progress by then. Bloody maths.

BTW. Doctor was fluffy (and a little camp) he gave me new pills to fix my brain better.
