Look what the fairies dragged in!
Feb. 9th, 2005 08:19 pmI got a new toy this week! (from the kind
snow_leopard, who did’t want it)

It’s all ultra slim and overly sparkly and makes strange noises. So......A bit like me then! *grins* A perfect match, methinks. Am I silly for liking this so much? My number hasn’t changed - but I’m going to have to put all your numbers into it again one at a time. Not looking forward to that. *sigh* If your number has changed recently or I might not know it, do drop me an email. *organisedlook*
Last weekend I went for a pootle in a nearby charity shop and found a pretty and old oak bookcase!

Which of course I bought, and had a lot of fun rearranging the furniture in my room to get it to fit. I do love rearranging furniture - it makes the room seem new and exciting again and inspires me with new ideas and thoughts. It fits snugly and my book collection is no longer overflowing in random places around the house, as it previously was. Of course, I no longer have any excuse not to buy any more books....lalalalaaaaaaaaa *ooops*
This week has been a disaster of timing. My sweetie has been in Germany all week, so we’ve been missing each other horribly. She returns tomorrow. And where am I going tomorrow? Berlin. *screams*
Not that I don’t want to go - Berlin will be lovely and I’m going with a lovely group of people - I’ve just got a small feeling we could have arranged this week somewhat better if we thought this would happen. *ponders*
Lovesickness is seriously bad for your health. Oh dear.
This also means I won’t be there to support her at her interview at the pretentious Slade College of Fine Art on Friday morning. I’m keeping my fingers and toes and arms and legs and...um.....maybe other bits...crossed for her - best of luck my little art genius. *wishesonabutterfly*
Now off to wrap secret presents and suchlike....*lalalaaaaaaa*
*hugehugs* to those of you wibbled and broken today - you know who you are. Am hoping and hoping that no lasting bad will come from this. I love all of you involved. *comfort*
Pootled to Winchester yesterday evening to again play fangirl to the musical genius of RazorBlade “Never the same lineup twice” Kisses. You know, I was right - they get better all the time. Now with live drums, live bass, and best of all, a new and very pretty violinist in the shape of Jayney. Pretty pretty
duranorak-like hair pretty. Really! (and yes I came away with her phonenumber. Bad me! *slapsself*). The lovely
daevas now has a radio mike (we are all *doomed*!!), and did the whole Rogue/Cruxshadows “wander around the audience” thing to Ballerina - which I must add, has been totally polished up to wonderfulness. Atmosphere was wonderful, pretty and I loved it. Am missing those vocal harmonies though.
daevas, I know it’s a pain to soundcheck them and set the levels right, but they are truly magical when you’ve done them in the past - bring them back! However, the new acoustic set was awesome. RBK have *lots* of other fans now (*is slightly jealous*), so you must be doing something right. Maybe it’s because we could all see your underwear, Layla? ;)
