Very pretty day - my RAINBOW generator works!! Fills the house full of sparkly pretty rainbows. *squeeeeeeeeeeeee*

And Angel Sanctuary is the prettiest Manga. Ever. Just because.

Cambridge BLUE is on Gwydir street (just off Mill Road just *before* you get to the railway bridge), so not at all far from Yves and Casby, if you're heading that way anyway. Would be nice to see you, although I won't be staying longer than 1 pint. Missing Nini too much!

Was at at talk on Tuesday about Hugens and some Very Serious Scientists were discussing what data could still be collected if the parachute got snagged on a tree on the way down.

A tree.

What are they expecting down there???

Some Very Serious people do take the possibility of life on Titan seriously. The exobiology group at NASA Ames apparently did some calculations that showed that it was at least a *bit* plausible. Obviously nothing water based, but there are likely to be plenty of liquid hydrocarbons around, and plenty of interesting chemistry, albeit in slow motion compared to Earth's due to the low temperatures. I think trees might be pushing it a bit, but you never know until you go and look!

They've not yet got the data, but they've seen it being transmitted to Cassini, which should now pass it back to Earth. *bounce*

Pretty rainbow maker *smiiiiiiiiiiles*. Solar powered thing with rainbow cogs that turns a crystal around in the sun so it makes rainbows all around the room. Imagine a solar-powered rainbow glitterball and you're about right. :) :)

Angel Sanctuary - alas I'm borrowing it myself (well, the first 2 books of *many*) from my dear cassielalone, and so they are hers. Very very very pretty and most highly recommended. *somewhatdistracted*. Am likely to end up buying it myself when I next see it in a shop anywhere, so would be happy to lend it to you then. I think it make a very happy and smily Elly, and that is always a good thing! :)

Thank you lots and lots. I was ..er...a bit late for work again as I got distracted by the rainbows.

Is a pity it'll probably only work in the mornings. Who knows - maybe it'll get me out of bed earlier to watch the rainbows!

Well, we could by another Rainbox maker and put it on one of the windows that face the other way (front room?) for afternoon rainbows.
Though with rainbows all over the house you never would leave.

Basically, the Kambar staff don't go back in till tonight, so I won't know whether they have my phone before 9.30pm this evening. This sucks a lot, obviously, but of course by then you'll be all wrapped up in Nini and therefore not interested in finding out if I have a phone or not!

If you text, I may or may not get it, and certainly won't get my new number to you in time since I won't buy a phone till tomorrow. Helen is best bet.

Yay Titan... Saturn... saw it on the news this morning *puzzled* Yes... (I was only 15 when they sent that probe thingy away. Puts things rather in perspective.)

marnameow bought me one of those rainbow generators for Christmas a couple of years back, which is now up on our bedroom window at the new flat, but the sun musn't be at the right angle or the generator is too low on the window, because I didn't get any rainbows :-/
