Waaah! Nobody wants to come to Riga, despite that being the most voted place. But lots of interest in Berlin. So change of plan again- we are just going to Berlin. Thursday 10th - Monday 14th February, £36 return flight. Any more takers? Shout now and we’ll book you a ticket. *hopefulbounces*

The world is most confusing. Can I hide under my duvet until it makes sense again? The trees across the road have turned blue and sparkly. Wheeeeeeeeeeeee!

Then a quiz besplattered with ethereal smut:

Fionna
Congratulations, you are Fionna! On the outside you
are the very vision of all things wistful, but
inside your mind is pure filth.

Which Seventh Harmonic singer are you?
brought to you by Quizilla

*ahem* I hope thats for having a preference for living in a castle with a Swedish lover, and not for the snogging [livejournal.com profile] caro7 question. With apologies to anyone who is not a Seventh Harmonic fan, and is probably very baffled by now.

I am tempted to go play with my bubble gun. The urge is strong. *wickedsmile*

Sounds fab - wish I had time!!
Did you get flights with Easyjet or someone else? I'll have to do more travelling soon rather than just back and forwards to England all the time!

Don't worry, I won't hold you to the snog!

Can't believe you've got no takers for Riga. You must go another time - they sell Fazer in the supermarkets (the Latvian equivalent of Tescos is called Rimi!!) and the Rigas Balsam is a fine, fine imbibition. Mind you, it sounds like you've been on it already if you're seeing blue trees at this time of day!

Hmm. I could do Berlin, in theory, but I have reservations -

a) No idea what the workload will be like at that stage (probably nasty, since second essay has to be in on the 25th, and I'll be desperately editing)

b) Valentine's Day? You want me around on Vallie's Day? That is a recipe for disaster. Well, that and vodka, but there we go.

I do have a break every now and again though ;)
England end of Jan, England March, Canada May!!
Don't worry - I'll be visiting in less than 2 months :)

Ah but Donna would not agree - have to find a happy medium and can't please all of the people all of the time ;)
Hooray for party - I get the flights paid for too which is always good!

Meh. Still not convinced - plus my laptop's battery lasts all of three minutes when unplugged ;)

When's the deadline for letting you know, and who else has said they're interested, and what about accomodation? And which airport?

OK, Chris & I are up for it -- put us on the ticket list :)
Besides which, we live such a tiny distance from Luton we should probably make use of the airport more....

I just get these until March cos of attending very boring BSA meetings, which are linked to my work but nothing to do with the uni as such - who are pretty crap really - like I only got about a third of my travel for interviewing paid for.

I'm coding, and I'm doing it in between checking e-mail, but should really get on with it and stop checking email as I'm not even halfway through and I wanted to be home for lunch *sigh*
How the hell did you get to go skiing??

But, but that's one of the good things about Bedford. You can't say 'at least I don't live in Luton' if you don't live near Luton! (actually I guess you can, but it'd have less relevence)

We're going to try getting to Bat's party tonight, so see you then?

Gah! Time pressure!

Which means I think I shall abstain on this occasion - thinking of the time pressure, I don't think I can risk it that close to the deadline, or else it will end up being a chore instead of a pleasure :( Plus Luton is a way away.

But you will have lots of lovely companions and I am certain also a splendid time.

Me please! My 40th birthday is in February, and I want an adventure to mark it (we were planning to go to Paris, but I have decided I want a big party instead) and £36 means that if I'm sick at the time, I won't have lost that much money. I've just checked the website for the German Embassy in Australia and I won't need a visa either. I know very little German though, having only done one term of it at school (my school was really crap and got the teachers to teach their native language as filler subjects, grrrr).

Berlin sounds good but I dunno if I'll be solvent. I may have to wait and join in on a not-so-cheap ticket closer to time.

Meanwhile, were you so spattered and stuck together with bubblegum that you couldn't make B-Movie?

Berlin sounds fun but I highly doubt I'll have a passport. After all, I've utterly failed to get one thus far this year so I doubt next year will be any different.

So despite actually speaking German, don't bother putting me down. Besides, I can think of many places I'd rather be on Valentine's Day than Luton Airport. :-/

I have other reasons too, but those will do.
