Change of birthday plans - now Berlin and Riga

Tallinn and Riga, while a good plan, sadly ended up looking more expensive than originally expected, and with horrible flight times and a total lack of trains between Tallinn and Riga. *sigh*

So, brand new shiny birthday holiday plan is Berlin and Riga. Yaaaaaaaay! Both cities I’ve never been to, but I’ve heard very good things about, so it should be lots of fun and adventure. Am thinking of these flights, to allow 3 days in each city, which should be a good length for a short, cheap break.

London Luton to Berlin:
Thursday 10th February
Out: flight 2105 dep. 13:30, arr. 16:25
Thursday 17th February
Return: flight 2106 dep. 16:45, arr. 17:40
Cost: £60.98

Berlin Schoenefeld to Riga:
Monday 14 February
Out: flight 4595; dep. 07:00; arr. 09:40
Thursday 17 February
Return: Riga to Berlin Schoenefeld
flight 4596; dep. 10:05; arr. 10:50
Cost: €40.98 (about £29)

Who’d be up for joining me? It’s my birthday on the 16th February, and I’d like to see lots of you there. Even if you can’t make all of it, let me know if you are just interested in the Berlin (or the Riga) leg of the holiday, and we’ll sort out things for that. Will be looking to book flights soonish, so please let me know quickly. La! *bounce*

I might be up for that; how soon is soonish as regards making a decision?

OK, Chris & I have put our heads together and formulated a Plan, to wit: we would (both) like to come for the Berlin leg, but to thereafter go back to England rather than on to Riga. That way he doesn't have to miss too much work and we'll be in the same place on Valentine's day (plus the week afterwards there may be terribly exciting GRB stuff at work, but I'm not holding my breath....)
