Fairy Lights and diary

Yay pretty! I bought 200 fairy lights today. And a tree and everything. Yaaaaaaaaaaaaay!

Will be good and wait for advent before taking over the house with them (but I want to fill the house with pretty fairy lights NOW!). Right now I am happily munching on some very nice homemade pesto bread which snow_leopard baked earlier today. Been a pleasant and relaxing weekend, reading Doll, a pretty Manga by Mitsukazu Mihara. A bit like Azimov’s robot stories crossed with Gothic Lolita, both very beautiful and very clever, and have been absolutely loving them (cassielalone, do you have any more of these? *hopefulsmile*). Yay. *bounce*

Next few weeks are looking very busy, and I’m going to forget something soon....let me know if I’ve lost anything (except my sanity, I know I’ve lost that)....

Tuesday 23th Cambridge for the Calling to see cassielalone and you other lovely people and bounce around a lot. *grins* (still need to find somewhere pre-calling to get dressed up. Any offers? *hopeful*)
Wednesday 24th M:Alice revisited in Soho - am curious to see this new venue! Suspect I’ll be not staying very late, as I’ll fall asleep!
Friday 26th Ceilidh at Cecil Sharp House with doseybat and bfo and others!
Saturday 27th Visiting cassielalone in Cambridge, and then onwards to see my favourite band rbkisses play in Norwich.
Sunday 28th Carol service at Trinity College, Cambridge. Somehow I never managed to get there while a student.
Tuesday 30th Coffee at Borders with karen2205 and the usual posse, and anyone else who randomly wants to join us.
Saturday 4th December Seeing CATS in Wimbledon with yvesilena and people. Yay!
Tuesday 7th You know, I could go the Calling again at this point. Or I could fall over.
Wednesday 8th Work Christmas dinner - we’re going to one of these Murder Mystery dinners. Which will either be awful or wonderful.
Friday 10th B-Movie. With some absurd theme I can’t quite remember right now.
Saturday 11th - Sunday 12th doseybat‘s birthday party, she’s taking over our flat. *bounce*
Tuesday 14th Coffee at Borders, after some last minute Christmas shopping.
Friday 17th - Wednesday 22nd (or thereabouts) Travelling up north to visit family.
Thursday 23rd December Staying overnight at mirabehn and evil_nick’s place.
Friday 24th December - Monday 3rd January Visit to alektoeumenides in the frozen wastelands of Russia.
Friday 7th - Monday 10th the_alchemist‘s Shakespeare Histories epic readthrough of doom.
Saturday 15th cassielalone’s birthday. Must plan something nice.
Saturday 29th mirabehn and evil_nick‘s housewarming party. Have sold apocalyptica ticket.
Mid-February Holiday in Tallinn and Riga for my birthday. Yaaaaaaaaaaay.

I'm buying pretty Gothic Lolita dresses this week, squee! I'm gonna look so pretty. However - on a related but separate note - their's also a shop opened up in camden where you can buy Gothic Lolita style clothes! (not the dresses I want though, so I['m getting them somewhere else) Its aaaaaaaaaaaall the way down in Stables, down the Path of Scarey Asian Food Vendors and instead of turning up towards the Black Rose et all, you go down the other way that turns out onto the just up from the bridge and the entrace to Stables. Good luck ^__^

By the way, if you're looking for cute more Manga, I can lend you Paradise Kiss.

*squeeeeeeeeeee* Gothic Lolita shop! Must find time to queeze in a shopping spree in camden then. Hopefully I can find the place. You *must* post up photos of you looking pretty in your new dresses! I demand prettiness! :)

If cassielalone fails to have it (unlikely, as her Manga library is taking over her room) I'll happily borrow Paradise Kiss from you. Yay cute Manga. :)

I do indeed have all of Paradise Kiss. ^_^ Pretty and cute. (If you don't want to rob half the cast of their overly pretty outfits after reading that I'll be very scared indeed. ^_^ I have a bit of a crush on Isabella...) I'm afraid there's not more of Doll out yet... Silly, slow TokyoPop. *grumble* But you can borrow Parakisu and Clover if you want?
(I confess, I am a serial lender. I force people near me to borrow stuffage that I like.)
