I found a pretty butterfly fluttering around on a otherwise deserted tube platform - for some reason this has cheered me up all day! Yay! The pretty little red and black thing was flapping and fluttering around looking very lost, but then it saw me and I held my hand out in a friendly manner and she landed on my hand and we looked into each others eyes and said hello to each other with our smiles. She was so small and delicate with pretty patterns and waved her wings about flirtatiously. Then we said byebye and she flew off, and I smiled and waited for my train. I *love* butterflies (and all pretty things, but especially butterflies!). Never seen one underground before - I wonder what other creatures live in tube stations? Today is special butterfly day! Yay!

And I love snow, but am sulking at lack of it. It’s snowed everywhere but here! Moscow has snow. Finland has snow. Even Cambridge has snow. London has cold wet rain. Waaaah. I want a refund. Where’s my snow?? I want to make snowmen and throw snowballs and make crunching noises walking through freshly fallen snow and do all the snow things. Snow makes me happy.

i wish i was with a certain someone right now. that would make me very happy *sigh*

I have no snow either. But I'm pretty okay with that, as I don't like being very cold when I'm ill. I like snow if I am wearing all the clothes in the world, but not really otherwise.

Butterflies and snow, eh? You truly are the anti-Catriona.

Last Christmas we had a butterfly wake up in the middle of the Carol Service at church and flutter all around the building. It was beautiful.

We have no more snow here, except on the top of cars. Sniff.

I want snow, too! We should protest against the sky; it is mean and cruel of it to not give us any snow.

Heh.

:P

You'll be sick of it after 2 days here. Trust me. The novelty is already wearing off for me.

Trust me, you don't want Moscow snow. God alone knows where it's been...

And really. You *will* get sick of it. When it's too cold to go to the shops...when it's so cold that even with layers, your hands freeze through their gloves...when the wind constantly blows snow in your face...when you're constantly having to clean your glasses/upwrap yourself upon entering a building...when you slip and fall on your arse for the 10th time today...

Trust me.

Butterflies pretty!
Haha! *evil laugh* I was walking outside when it started snowing and that cheered me up. (Almost as much as getting flowers on friday. ^_~) My mom called me and complained about having to shovel snow. (Apparently they have about 25-30 cm there now.) That made me order a ticket to go home for christmas after all. (How can I resist when they tempt me with snow of all things? *sigh*)

Hah, it wen't away far too quickly and I had a long rant to myself on snow not counting unless it stays on the ground for more than a few hours. *pout*

*hugs back* Ofcourse I did, they're absolutely lovely. Yay, just two more days 'till you get here. *happier* I'm sorry if I'm not the most sociable and nice person at the moment but I'm really glad you're coming on Tuesday.

Agreed! Proper snow hangs about for a while so I have a chance to play with it. ^_~
