Fractured Finger
Oct. 4th, 2004 02:43 pmMy finger is fractured.
Was brave and decided to venture to Whipps Cross Hospital. Spent a horrible morning at A&E, which is truly dire. An hours queue just for the reception desk. And then another long wait for the assessment, another wait for the X-ray, more waiting to get the X-ray prints back, and another wait to finally see a nurse. And they told me it’s fractured, and put a double-finger bandage over it, and I have to go back to the fracture clinic on Wednesday afternoon. Am feeling very low and drained and upset.

Date: 2004-10-04 07:07 am (UTC)I went to see the nuclear bomb at the weekend, after the review you wrote of it sometime back. The exhibition didn't have as much stuff in it as some places (such as the "secret" nuclear bunker in Essex), but I still found it interesting.
