Aberystwyth Mon Amour

791point43 scared me with the bizarreness of many welsh landmarks. The constitution hill Camera Obscura is most fab. The flags of minor regions of Europe along the seafront are disturbing. The frightening rural "alternative shop" of Aberystwyth is just that: frightening. Recovered with a drink in the pub that was once an old welsh church, still prettily painted, with welsh inscriptions of the ten commandments and various gospel quotes adorning the walls.
Spent much time admiring Julia Stiles with Lina's lesbian friends (assuming my gaydar was not too confused by this point...), watching Uma Thurman in The Avengers, got confused by The prisoner. And then there was Brian Molko. Singing and speaking in French. *thud*. He so belongs to me. Mine, I tell you.
And only Russian hospitality could invent a new favourite food of mine (Ravioli with pesto and cheese - how so me!) at midnight when I arrived hungry. *yummy*. Beat the stupidly expensive posh work dinner in a top Mayfair hotel the night before by a mile! Yay.
And much prettiness, with no surprises here:
