Even so, I've always been the one to try and help everyone. I think I do that too much to the extent that they feel that i'm getting involved in things that are 'none of my business' or I intefere and things go wrong or I neglect myself (just like amelie). Plus I've always had a mischievous nature to be adventurous and playful to the extent of laying trails for people or leaving random objects anonymously where they are like to find them.
The me/amelie comparison only falls down becasue the film has a happy ending. In fact I was almost hoping it *wouldn't* be a happy ending - i knew any happy ending would make me cry. Just because.
