Back to the land of snow.....
Snoooooooooooow :) :)
Got back home yesterday, but felt way out of it to write anything - catt kindly bought me a curry and played 80s music (evening standard freebie CD) and the Hedwig video at me, which was very nice of her, and then I collapsed into bed and fell asleep instantly.
I got the see the snow now, so I'm happy. Sadly its all melting now, but I've had my snow-fun! :) Pretty pretty pretty. The flight home was magical - every previous time I've flown anywhere, it's either been dark or cloudy, so theres nothing to see from the plane. This time, it was clear, sunny and very pretty, as the landscape was covered in snow. Taking off from Rome, got to see most of the sights again from the air, heading out over the clear Mediterranean, and then north, suddenly snow topped mountains, a pure wintry landscape and very beautiful. The alps gave way to the plains of France, but the snow didn't stop - horizon to horizon - Lyons and Paris covered in snow. Over the channel, and still more snow, impressive to see London unfold before me dotted with whiteness, I could easily make out all the major parks and the Thames, and it was wonderful. When I landed, I got to see the snow for myself up close. Yay! :) *bounce* *bounce* *bounce* I like snow.
Will write about my travels and adventures soon, just thought I'd share that magical flight with everyone, and remind people I'll be at B-Movie this evening.
