I want my money back!!!!
Dec. 4th, 2002 09:27 pmOn Monday I was horrified to find 700 pounds missing from my bank account. Ouchies!
I thought at first it was fraud, and someone had stolen my bankcard details. A quick check of my account found the money had in fact been taken out of my bank by my college as 'fees'. Without any warning whatsoever. I had signed a Direct Debit way back in September, but they said they would invoice me a month before taking any money, and as I was going to be transferred to 'writing up' (non fee paying) status soon, the chances are I wouldn't be paying anything. When they failed to send me any invoice, I'd assumed they'd decided not to claim fees off me. Until Monday, when the huge hole in my bank account appeared. Grrrrrrr. Not a very nice christmas present. :(
However, good news on the thesis front, the final simulations have been submitted to the supercomputer, so with any luck my research has entered its final phase. Yay!
