Catnip and Potatoes
Had a lovely visit to see
excelsis this evening, who it was very very nice to see again and catch up on things with. Yay! :) I wish I get to see him lots of time over the summer - I miss him when he's not in london.
Today I've been planting seeds - catnip to be exact. The peat was prepared (very messily, and with much chaos, but it worked in the end) and the seeds have been sown. So hopefully next week there will be lots of catnip seedlings to put into pots. Yay! :)
In addition,
excelsis has given me a potato to plant. According to the pedigree chart, the potato is named Fountleroy, whose great great grandmother potato was Alice, who was originally found tied to my doorhandle in the fall of 1997. For those of you who don't know of the great potato farming plan, this probably doesn't make much sense. The plan suffered a serious setback with the unexpected death of Cromwell last summer, but is now back on track. Yay! :)
