Off to the land of the faraway trees

Very shortly I'll be jetting off to Tampere, for the start of my adventures in Finland, Russia and Estonia. Adventure being the word, as I've hardly planned any of these traveels and a lot of my trip will be done spontaneously, and at a whim from now on. This is going to make everything that little bit more fun and exciting. Inevitably, things will go wrong, but that just makes it more of an adventure. Hooray - I'm excited already.

Important: I will probably be totally uncontactable until I return very late on May 9th. No mobile phone and probably no e-mail. Possibly I'll get web-access, so if theres any reason anyone needs to get a message to me the best possible way would be to post a comment here and I may have a chance to see it, but don't even rely on that. alektoeumenides and isobell you both know exactly when/where I'm meeting you. snowgrouse, its a pity that the whims of Ryanair destroyed our planned rendezvous, but thanks again for all your help, and who knows, if things go wrong at Tampere later today, maybe I'll end up in Lahti after all.
