You should indeed visit Belgium properly - its full of the strange. Wouldn't mind going back there again myself, as it's so easy to get to.
I've been to Belgium lots of times. Two weeks when I was 18 in Ghent for a International Bridge competition. A couple of summers I went camping for the weekend at the Eurorock festival in Neerpelt. I've been to Bruges for a long weekend back in 2004. Spent a night in Brussels once, but never really got to see very much of it. Also visited Antwerp and Ostend breifly. And also service-station stops on the way through to Amsterdam a couple of times. I guess I felt it was time I did Brussels properly! :)
