You know, that almost makes sense. Is that really true?
The only thing that doesn't make sense is it being melons. I didn't see expensive strawberries, or expensive sushi, or anything else. Just melons. Why melons and not these? Or maybe they do exist and I just didn't find them.
As a way of buying gifts it almost backfires - I was sorely tempted to tell everyone "sorry, I was going to buy you all gifts from Japan, but instead I spent all my money on a melon".
