Taking bites out of the sun

fluffymarkIt was about a 20% solar eclipse from here. Well, I briefly caught a glimpse of it, and the sun looked oddly shaped, and that's about it. Wondering if anyone else got a better look at it? Or any other strange phenomena involving rains of fish and suchlike?
